Adopting a dog is never an easy process. People assume it is, but there is a great deal of responsibility involved, especially if the animal being adopted has had some negative experiences in the past. However, it turns out that some of the most rewarding pets to possess are also the most difficult to care for. Nobody knew why Benji kept returning to the shelter after being adopted. It had happened 11 times by this point, and all his owners had done was keep offering lame excuses. They didn’t realize the full extent of Benji’s issue until the new trainee decided to take him home with her.
He Was Returned Once More
Because Benji was a mixed breed, no one was sure which breed he belonged to. He looked like a hybrid between a Labrador and a Golden Retriever, with a dash of Asian Village Dog thrown in for good measure.
