Because they were both struggling with medical issues, John and Bonedigger formed an unusual friendship. When Tony was being too rough with his prosthetic legs, Bonedigger would constantly come to his aid.

Growing Up
It was just a matter of time until the cubs grew larger and larger. They grew to be too large for John to keep in his own home. This is when he took them both to the Wynnewood Animal Park in Oklahoma. They were free to roam as much as they wished in this large, open space.
