Benji was obviously unhappy all the time, and he didn’t trust him. They have every right to believe so… Everyone who worked at the shelter felt compelled to find a solution to the problem. She was in training while studying veterinary medicine. During that time, she volunteered at a homeless shelter. She’d never seen Benji before, and the moment she did, she was completely smitten. She initially met Benji when his previous owner returned him to her. Staff members who had been at the shelter for a longer period of time informed her how hilarious Benji had been in the past, despite the fact that she had only ever seen him in his severely sad state. They also disclosed that Benji had been returned 11 times for various reasons.
