The DeForest couple is another example of people who moved into a new house and had no idea that there were hidden things in their homes. While Linda was unloading some stuff in their basement, she made a baffling discovery. She immediately called for her husband and told him that she found a torpedo in their basement. At first the husband did not believe his wife, but when he went to see it for himself, he realized that his wife was telling the truth.

The Green Torpedo
After they found out about the torpedo, the couple immediately called the authorities. An army veteran spoke to them and explained why the torpedo could be there and that it came from the Korean and Vietnam War. The torpedo was then taken by the authorities. The couple was so curious why someone would have a torpedo in their home’s basement. It was said that some kept torpedoes as souvenirs.
