The lady did not know who the man was or the position he was holding in his work. Karl would usually go outside and walk into the town without using his uniform. Every time the man did this, he could see people’s reactions or how they would treat him. For the ladies in the restaurant, they would not serve the man politely. The guy recognized that he was poorly treated.

Karl observed the place and realized that people were fascinated by what he did in the restaurant. Most of the people were looking at him. As soon as he realized it, Karl became embarrassed about what he did. The man thought to himself if someone knew him after what he did in the restaurant. If those people had realized what kind of man he was, they would not have the audacity to treat him like that.
