Funaki
From Kai En Tai’s days alongside Taka Michinoku to become SmackDown’s Number One Announcer, Funaki has spent a long career at WWE. Since 1998, he’s delighted people, winning the Cruiserweight Championship and the Hardcore title. It’s a blend of his funny stunts, wildly charming personality, and in-ring abilities that make him so famous. Funaki transitioned smoothly to the Japanese viewer comment squad.
Bull Nakano
Until Women’s Wrestling’s “Divas Era” WWE sought to book women in a more legitimate manner, comparable to today’s product. They did a decent job having Alundra Blayze, the Women’s Winner, sound like a serious competitor, but the division was incredibly weak. Enter Nakano. The Japanese star, with its enormous power and uniquely scary appearance, was a force. Luna Vachon took her to take Blayze back. They competed for the SummerSlam belt that Blayze won, but Bull won the line-down rematch and retained the 134-day WWE Women’s Championship.
