Account of the events
Sitting at the kitchen table, Robert began to recount the chaotic events of the day. “It started with some strange shapes in the water,” he explained. Lucy listened to him intently, and her eyes widened as he described the beach patrol and evacuation. “And then they made everyone leave without telling us,” he finished. Lucy shook her head, still processing what had happened. “It’s very strange,” she said. “Do you think it’s dangerous?” Robert shrugged, unsure. “I really don’t know.”

Factual Background
Lucy’s concern diminished
Lucy examined Katrina’s hand closely and was relieved to see that there was no lasting damage. “Doesn’t it hurt?” she asked Katrina. The little girl shook her head. “No, Mom, it’s fine now.” Lucy sighed, relieved. “Thank goodness,” she murmured. Robert gave her a reassuring smile. “I think it was just some kind of foreign residue,” he said. “But we should keep an eye on it, just in case.” Lucy nodded, feeling a little calmer.
