Another picture that was taken before she married the prince, here we see Lady Diana walking out of her friend’s 50th birthday party. The bash was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in London. She wore a lengthy black woolen coat she layered over a floor-length dress. It’s crazy to think about how she had no idea that soon she’d be wearing dozens of designer dresses on a regular basis!

What is now a familiar and iconic piece of jewelry worn by Prince William’s wife, Kate, Princess Diana’s engagement ring was stunning. She chose the 18-carat sapphire ring in a catalog. The gem was surrounded by 14 diamonds. Just days after the royal engagement was announced, the couple did a small photo-op outside the Palace to officially release photos. Everyone was desperate to get a look at the ring.
