Getting Married
Kate and Prince William decided to get married in the year 2010 after a lot of years dating. And a year after, Kate would be formally known as the Duchess of Cambridge. Their wedding was called “The Wedding of the Century” and took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. A lot of people watched their wedding worldwide. In the same year, Meghan also got married!

First Marriage
Meghan did not marry a prince yet in 2011. At the time, she was still trying to make a name for herself in Hollywood. She married an actor-producer by the name of Trevor Engelson, who is known to have produced TV series Snowfall, License to Wed, All About Steve, as well as the 2010 film Remember Me. They would later break up two years after their marriage, which happens to be the same time as when Meghan’s career took off.
