Good Relationship
After what happened, Pete Feltham, the Alexandria Police Union representative, complimented the restaurant because of their fast action and immediate apology. However, their effort was too late when some banners were placed in front of the location. People were trying to support the officer. The representative thought that Karl had “handled the situation perfectly” However, Pete could not believe it because he knew that officers had a good relationship with the people in Alexandria.

Unfortunately, none of Pete’s words did calm down the furious people that knew the incident. There were thousands of negative comments that were posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page. Some people were boycotting and encouraged their customers to support them. There was stealing inside the restaurant after what happened to Karl. The officer decided to act because of the issue.
